do I provide?
A a DONA certified birth doula, I help mothers that choose to birth in hospitals, birth-centers or their homes. I believe that women should give birth in the environment they are more comfortable with, receiving all the support that they need throughout their labor and birth.
What is a doula?
A doula is a trained profesional that gives emotional encouragement and physical assistance to the delivering mother. A nurturing experienced doula can be an advocate for the parents. She is there during labor to help the parents have the type of birthing experience they desire.
